Senior MuleSoft Developer / Architect

Job Title: Sr MuleSoft Developer/Architect Duration: 12+ months Client: Financial Location: San Francisco, CA preferred; Remote considered if not located in San Francisco Description: The client is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer/Architect strong experience in software development, application integration, API development, and support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in programming, analysis, design, development, implementation, quality assurance, and applications support. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, API Gateways, and enterprise application integration. Hands-on experience with MuleSoft is highly preferred. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product teams, audit teams, and other technical stakeholders to design, develop, implement, test, and support high-quality applications and integration solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable. The ideal candidate should be comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills: · MuleSoft development experience · Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, analysis, design, development, implementation, quality assurance, and applications support · Strong practical knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) · Experience with Microservices architecture · Experience with API Gateways · Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: o 3Scale o MuleSoft o Apigee Edge o CA Technologies o Tibco Mashery o Axway o IBM Gateway · Strong software development and application integration experience · Strong troubleshooting and application support skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills Nice to Have: · Previous experience working in the Financial Services / Financial Industry · Experience working with audit, compliance, or product teams · Experience in enterprise-level application integration environments
