About The Role We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and help build intuitive, high-quality experiences across the InfoSum platform. You’ll work primarily with TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS, developing new features, improving existing experiences and helping us maintain a high standard of quality across the front end. You’ll work closely with other engineers, product managers and designers, contributing throughout the development lifecycle from technical discussions through to delivery. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who has a solid foundation in modern front-end development and is looking to take on more ownership while continuing to develop their technical skills. What You’ll Be Doing Building and maintaining responsive, high-quality web applications using TypeScript and ReactWriting clean, maintainable and reusable front-end codeDeveloping accessible and responsive interfaces using HTML and CSSWorking closely with Product and Design to turn requirements and designs into great user experiencesContributing to technical discussions and helping shape front-end solutionsWriting and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our applicationsTroubleshooting and resolving bugs and performance issuesParticipating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with the wider engineering teamContinuously looking for ways to improve our development practices, tooling and user experience What We’re Looking For Commercial experience working as a Front-End Engineer / Software EngineerStrong experience with TypeScript and ReactGood understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive designExperience building and maintaining modern web applicationsUnderstanding of front-end testing principles and experience with relevant testing toolsFamiliarity with Git and modern software development practicesGood understanding of web accessibility, performance and browser compatibilityA collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers and product teamsA willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute beyond your immediate area of responsibility Nice To Have Experience with a modern React framework such as Next.jsExperience with component libraries or design systemsExperience working with APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend servicesExposure to CI/CD and cloud-based development environmentsExperience working in an Agile product engineering environment We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
