Position: Senior Software Developer Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract) Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support, maintain, enhance, and develop enterprise web applications and learning management solutions. The successful consultant will bring extensive hands-on experience with GeoTalent, including the TP development environment, TP Macro Language, and Sax Basic, along with strong expertise in.NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps. This senior-level role requires a minimum of 10 years of programming and analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise developing and supporting enterprise applications, building front-end web functionality and back-end administrative features, designing database solutions, troubleshooting applications, and delivering new web-based initiatives. Scope Support, maintain, enhance, and develop existing and new web-based applications.Design and develop functionality within the GeoTalent development environment, including front-end web features and back-end administrative console functionality.Translate technical system specifications into working and tested applications.Develop detailed programming specifications and write, generate, test, and maintain application code. Assignment Deliverables Design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of assigned enterprise applications.Front-end and back-end features developed within the GeoTalent environment.Application code, technical specifications, unit tests, and supporting documentation.Database models, queries, stored procedures, views, and scripts as required.Troubleshooting and resolution of application and technical issues. Expertise Required Must Have: 10+ years of experience working with GeoTalent, including hands-on experience within the GeoTalent TP development environment, TP Macro Language, and TP environment.10+ years of programming and analysis experience at a senior level.10+ years of .NET experience, including enterprise-level application development.Strong experience with ASP.NET Core (.NET 6 or above).Experience with Microsoft .NET Entity Framework.Hands-on experience with Blazor Server.Strong development experience with C#, LINQ, and Razor syntax.Experience with Sax Basic / TP Macro Language.Experience with SCORM.Strong database knowledge, including data modelling and SQL programming.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or above.Experience with Visual Studio, including Visual Studio 2022 or later.Experience with Azure DevOps. Nice to Have: Experience creating and maintaining Sax Basic macros.Experience designing, building, and delivering Learning Management System (LMS) modules.
