Senior Platform Engineer London, hybrid, one day a week onsite Up to £90,000 + 10% cash benefit + 10% pension + bonus We’re recruiting a Senior Platform Engineer with hands on Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience for a major financial services organisation in London. You’ll design, build and maintain cloud platforms, supporting a significant digital transformation programme while keeping existing services secure, reliable and available. This is a senior engineering role combining practical delivery with responsibility for technical decisions and improvements, working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the UK and India. The Role Design, build and improve secure, scalable and highly available Azure platforms.Support platform changes while maintaining existing services.Improve deployment pipelines, automation and monitoring.Contribute to technical decisions, review code and designs, and improve engineering practices.Take ownership of platform issues and work across teams to resolve them. Requirements Hands on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience.Senior level experience designing, delivering and operating cloud platforms.Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation and monitoring.Knowledge of cloud networking, security, microservices and containerisation.Confidence making technical decisions and taking ownership of delivery and operational issues.Clear communication and experience working with engineering colleagues and stakeholders.MongoDB and financial services experience are desirable.
