Full Stack Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join a growing FinTech/RegTech business providing technology and managed solutions for financial and regulatory reporting. Industry: Reg-Tech Location: Nicosia (Hybrid - 2 WFH) Salary range: €30,000–€50,000, depending on depth of technical knowledge, overall experience, and seniority. The role will have a strong focus on ReactJS and front-end development, turning approved designs into responsive, functional web pages and components. You will also work across the wider application environment, including APIs, databases, testing, system support, and ongoing improvements. The position is suited to someone who enjoys combining technical development with problem-solving, has an eye for good design and usability, and is interested in contributing to the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Translate approved designs into functional, responsive web pages and reusable components using ReactJS.Develop and maintain front-end functionality using JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and related technologies.Integrate web components and features into existing web portals and business applications.Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.Provide estimates for development tasks, including effort and expected delivery timescales.Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications and business systems.Assist with the analysis and improvement of business processes and system functionality.Identify potential improvements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.Design and maintain test scripts and participate in functional and quality testing.Support business users during acceptance testing of new features and system enhancements.Investigate issues, troubleshoot application problems, and support their resolution.Work with databases and develop complex SQL queries where required.Work with APIs and system integrations using REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML.Contribute to data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and data integrity activities.Ensure that technical solutions remain aligned with business requirements and objectives.Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance.Contribute to discussions around development practices, new technologies, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.2–4 years of professional experience in web development or a related field.Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and ReactJS.Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS/SASS.Experience working with Git and modern source-control practices.Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.Experience writing and working with complex SQL queries.Understanding of REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML and experience working with APIs or system interfaces.Familiarity with data analysis, data profiling, data cleansing, reconciliation, and data integrity.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of Python or other programming languages would be considered an advantage.Experience with Shell scripting would be an advantage.Previous exposure to testing, QA, or business acceptance testing is beneficial.Experience working with business applications, financial systems, or regulated environments would be considered an advantage.
