DevOps Engineer – Telecom Network Validation Platform (ANT/Open Tool)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to modernize, scale, and maintain the continuous integration, deployment, and testing infrastructure for AT&T’s network validation platforms (ANT & Open Tool). You will bridge the gap between development and platform testbeds by automating deployment workflows, managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, provisioning multi-cloud resources via IaC, and ensuring maximum uptime of validation pipelines. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Architecture: Design, automate, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for platform components and test scripts. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Container Orchestration: Deploy, configure, and manage containerized microservices on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift across hybrid cloud environments. Environment & Reliability Engineering: Manage underlying Linux systems and application servers; maintain high availability, auto-scaling, and health monitoring. Validation Platform Support: Partner with telecom QA and network engineers to optimize platform build efficiency and maintain stable ANT/Open Tool environments. Observability: Set up proactive monitoring, alerting, and log aggregations using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Candidate Profile & Technical Skills CI/CD & Source Control: Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle, Artifactory/Nexus. Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift. Infrastructure Automation: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation. Cloud & OS: AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred); expert-level Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Bash/Shell scripting. Programming & Scripting: Python, Bash, YAML, JSON. Telecom Domain (Preferred): Familiarity with 4G LTE/5G architecture, Open RAN, or telecom testing platforms.
