Senior Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain automated test cases in close cooperation with developers, manual testers, Product Owners and business expertsIncrease automated test coverage across both frontend and backend flows, reducing reliance on manual testingPerform performance and non-functional testing, particularly using JMeterPrepare, gather and manage test data required for different testing scenariosMonitor, analyse, debug and document automated test execution resultsIdentify gaps in test automation and proactively drive improvements in test coverage and testing processesSupport QA activities across the delivery team and promote a strong automation mindsetContribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools and practicesIntegrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and support their execution as part of the software delivery processCooperate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and overall solution quality Requirements: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, covering web applications and REST API or service-level testingStrong practical experience with Java and the ability to use it effectively when developing and maintaining automated testsGood knowledge of software testing principles, ideally supported by knowledge at ISTQB Foundation level or equivalentHands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman, Maven and Chrome DevToolsPractical experience in performance testing, preferably with JMeterVery good working knowledge of Git and strong experience working with BambooExperience with test management and delivery tools such as qTest, Jira and ConfluenceFamiliarity with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and experience working with GherkinAbility to independently support and drive QA activities within a delivery team and identify opportunities to improve test automationStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, testers, Product Owners and business stakeholdersA proactive approach to quality and willingness to continuously improve test automation practices and technical skillsFluency in English (both written and spoken)Nice to have: Experience in manual testingExperience in mobile application testingExperience working with data formats such as XML, CSV and JSON Offer: Private medical careCo-financing for the sports cardConstant support of dedicated consultantEmployee referral program
