Software Engineer - C# Azure

We are looking for a C# Azure Engineer to work with a team who primarily focuses on system integrations between various applications within the organization, such as time-tracking, financial, document management, and project management systems. Key responsibilities include: Analyzing business challenges.Creating and refining user stories.Developing integrations between systems.Development within Microsoft Azure.Setting up infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform).Working according to the Scrum methodology. Desired Profile For the integration teams, Novon Digital is looking for developers with experience in: C#Microsoft AzureAzure FunctionsAPI and system integrationsInfrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g., Bicep or TerraformCloud environments and cloud hostingScrum methodology Important: Candidates must be immediately deployable. There is limited capacity for training, so practical experience with Azure and IaC is essential. Organizational Changes and Opportunities Novon Digital is currently restructuring its teams: An internal team and an external team will be formed.The external team will take on additional initiatives and projects when the internal team lacks capacity.The concept is still under development and being further refined. At the end of September, two freelancers (ZZP'ers) will be leaving the team, potentially creating two new positions. While the exact responsibilities are still being finalized, there is an expectation of sufficient new work to fill these roles. Desired Experience Level Candidates do not need to match the seniority of the departing consultants (who have ~20 years of experience). According to Remco, candidates with: A few years of experience in Azure integrations,Experience with cloud environments,Experience with Infrastructure as Code,are already highly interesting. The focus is on practical deployability rather than a specific number of years of experience. Language Requirements English is a hard requirement.Dutch is not formally required but is a strong preference, as there is regular contact with Dura Vermeer’s business teams.The team is internationally composed, and currently includes non-Dutch-speaking colleagues. Discussion on ALTEN Profiles During the conversation, various ALTEN profiles were discussed. Key consideration: A candidate with primarily C# / Full Stack Developer experience is not automatically suitable.Demonstrable experience with Azure hosting, cloud solutions, and Infrastructure as Code is required.Candidates without this experience will likely struggle to meet the needs.
