For our client, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer - Secret to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will focus on building and improving the automation, deployment, and support processes that keep production environments running efficiently. You will partner with technical teams to streamline software delivery, strengthen system performance, and enable fast, reliable release cycles. The position also requires close collaboration with stakeholders in a secure environment to support ongoing operational needs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $103,500 – $181,100 annually Responsibilities Develop and refine analytic tools on an ongoing basis Design and automate software installation across production environments Review system architecture and implement build and support tools to improve performance Work in fast development cycles while maintaining strong customer interaction Contribute to a team focused on building high-quality products and supporting professional growth Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant professional experience Active Secret security clearance required Experience with Linux development environments, including RHEL, Rocky, and Ubuntu Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Containerd Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Groovy Experience with deployment automation tools such as Ansible, Packer, and Cloud-init Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as vSphere and ESXi, or equivalent Knowledge of source code repository tools such as Git or equivalent Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays to accommodate busy lifestyles 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance coverage Flexible work schedules Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
