Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Software Engineer role based in Hong Kong SAR, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and trading-related systems that support liquidity management for token issuers. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing robust and scalable software components, integrating with exchange APIs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring reliable data flows. The role also involves collaborating with trading and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code, improving development practices, and contributing to system monitoring and incident resolution. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go).Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production systems.Experience with distributed systems, message queues, and performance optimization is beneficial.Familiarity with financial markets, crypto trading, or quantitative systems is a plus.Comfort with version control, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of technical outcomes.
