Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Luton - Hybrid Contract: 12 Months Day Rate: £540 per day (Inside IR35) What You'll Do Develop robust, high-quality applications using C# .NET within a Windows environment.Contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to integration, testing and delivery.Apply object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practice.Develop, maintain and enhance web-based applications and services.Support verification and validation activities to ensure software quality and compliance.Work within Agile development teams while taking ownership of individual technical deliverables.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.Support system integration, troubleshooting and deployment activities. What We're Looking For Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# .NET.Experience building web-based applications, APIs or backend services.Good understanding of object-oriented design and software development methodologies.Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.Exposure to automated testing frameworks and testing practices.Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.Experience working with microservices architectures.Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision. Desirable Experience Defence, Aerospace or Electronic Warfare sector experience.
