How You'll Make An Impact
What you'll be doing
As a Data/Analytics Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our data and analytics platforms, ensuring data is accessible, reliable and capable of supporting meaningful business outcomes.
Working across modern cloud-based data technologies, you'll:
Administer, maintain and optimize the organization’s data and analytics platforms, ensuring they remain robust, scalable and fit for purposeSupport and enhance cloud-based analytics environments, including Snowflake and associated data technologiesDesign, develop and maintain data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions that support business objectivesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutionsEnsure data integrity, security, governance and quality standards are maintained across the platformIdentify opportunities to leverage data, analytics and emerging technologies to improve business performance and operational efficiencySupport reporting, visualization and advanced analytics initiatives across the organisationMonitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvementsContribute to data governance practices, standards and documentationWork within Agile delivery frameworks to successfully deliver analytics and data initiatives
About You
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with curiosity, innovation and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
You'll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer or in a similar data-focused roleExperience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments, including SnowflakeStrong understanding of data engineering principles, data modelling, ETL/ELT development and analytics best practicesExperience developing and supporting data pipelines, reporting solutions and analytics environmentsKnowledge of data governance, data quality and information management principlesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExperience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environmentsEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsA continuous improvement mindset and passion for leveraging data to solve business problems
