Quantexa Developer

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantexa Engineer to join an enterprise financial crime technology initiative in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience delivering Quantexa solutions in enterprise environments, with a focus on Transaction Monitoring, Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and Financial Crime Detection. This role will involve solution design, development, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support of Quantexa based solutions while working closely with architecture, business, platform, and delivery stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Quantexa solutions supporting Transaction Monitoring and Financial Crime use cases. • Build and optimise capabilities across Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and Financial Crime Detection. • Configure and maintain scoring models, business rules, data processing workflows, and related Quantexa components. • Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Quantexa solutions. • Lead solution design activities and contribute to technical architecture and implementation decisions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing Quantexa implementations to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Work closely with Architecture, Business, Platform, and Delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery. • Participate in technical discussions, solution reviews, design sessions, testing, and deployment activities. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices. • Support production issues and provide effective technical solutions within defined timelines. • Contribute to documentation covering solution design, configuration, implementation, and technical processes. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of overall software / engineering experience. • 4+ years of hands on experience delivering Quantexa solutions in enterprise environments. • Strong experience with Quantexa Transaction Monitoring solutions. • Hands on experience with Entity Resolution, Network Analytics, Customer Risk Scoring, and Financial Crime Detection. • Strong understanding of scoring models, rules, data processing workflows, and financial crime use cases. • Experience in solution design with the ability to influence technical direction. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving skills. • Experience working with enterprise architecture and platform teams. • Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
