Description

Are you a recent Engineering graduate looking to launch your design career with a highly respected manufacturing business? This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative engineering company known for designing and manufacturing bespoke products for customers across a range of industries. Working as part of an experienced design team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from concept generation and 3D modelling through to manufacturing support and continuous product improvement. What you'll be doing: Producing 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawingsSupporting the design and development of new and existing productsAssisting with prototype development, testing and validation activitiesWorking closely with manufacturing, production and procurement teamsParticipating in design reviews and continuous improvement projectsEnsuring designs meet customer, quality and manufacturing requirementsSupporting project delivery from concept through to production What we're looking for: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related disciplineStrong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processesExperience using 3D CAD software through university projects, placement years or internshipsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesEnthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn and developPlacement year or industrial experience would be advantageous but not essential.
