About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Software Engineer (m/w/d) with a focus on Financial Accounting (FI) to join our IT team at the Hagen location.
As an integral part of our digital transformation initiatives, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing SAP solutions that support our financial operations and strategic goals.
Your role will involve working on complex software development projects, integrating SAP with other enterprise systems, and contributing to the migration and transformation of our SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our SAP systems meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a relevant university degree or vocational qualification in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive professional experience in SAP development, particularly with ABAP, Fiori, and SAP HANA, is essential.
Proven expertise in customizing and maintaining SAP FI modules, along with a solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA migration projects, is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, as is enthusiasm for staying current with emerging SAP technologies and industry trends.
Fluency in German and English is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance complex SAP FI solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.Design, implement, and maintain SAP Fiori applications, SAPUI5 interfaces, and OData services to improve user experience and system integration.Optimize existing SAP systems for performance, stability, and scalability through continuous improvements and updates.Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems, including third-party applications and web services via REST APIs and other protocols.Participate actively in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, contributing expertise to system migration, testing, and deployment activities.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues, develop innovative solutions, and implement best practices.Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
