Your Responsibilities Verification and validation of PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems in the aerospace environmentPlanning, execution, and coordination of verification activities within complex aerospace development projectsVerification of technical requirements and detailed specifications to ensure compliance of FPGA-based hardware architectures and control systemsDevelopment and execution of verification plans, test procedures, and test casesPerforming functional, integration, and system-level verification of PLD/FPGA solutionsConducting FPGA simulations and debugging activities using industry-standard verification toolsPerforming PLD/FPGA design reviews to assess requirements, concepts, detailed designs, and verification resultsAnalysis, documentation, and communication of verification and validation resultsCreation, review, and evaluation of safety concepts, safety analyses, and compliance documentationSupporting certification and qualification activities in accordance with aerospace standards and processesCollaboration within interdisciplinary development teams consisting of hardware, software, systems, and verification engineers Your Profile Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualificationSolid experience in the verification and validation of FPGA or PLD-based systemsIdeally, experience in aerospace development environmentsProven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and corresponding development and verification tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)Strong knowledge of FPGA verification methodologies and simulation environmentsExperience with ModelSim, Riviera-PRO, or comparable verification toolsExperience with requirements-based verification, test planning, and verification reportingExperience with model-based development approaches and tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) is an advantageIdeally, experience with FPGA verification for aerospace applications in accordance with DO-254Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for effective internal and external communication. German language skills are considered an advantage. A permanent employment contract is offered. The position is compensated within the IG Metall collective agreement framework. The salary development includes several salary adjustments within the first 12 months. The average annual salary during the first year of employment is €77,000. Following the completion of this adjustment phase, the annual salary from the 13th to the 47th month is €100,000.
