Are you an organised, detail-driven person at the start of your career in software? Do you get a kick out of making things work better, faster, or with less effort? Do you want to learn how a product is built, tested and shipped, and have a hand in all three? If so, we want YOU to join our team.
About the role
You'll work directly with our Head of Product as her right hand on the technical side.
Your first job is making sure what we ship actually works: testing new releases, finding bugs before our users do, and building the automated checks that catch them next time.
From there you'll grow into building features yourself, in our Flutter app and its Node.js backend, and into keeping the tools and systems the team relies on running smoothly.
This is a fulltime role for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast with a small team.
At HerFuture, we believe in the power of inclusive talent in tech.
We are the fastest growing community in the Netherlands connecting talents to top companies such as Rabobank, Deloitte, ING and BCG using our in-house built platform.
Our mission: to help more talent in tech grow, develop and flourish in an industry that needs them.
About us
HerFuture is a data-driven app built around a community of 9,000+ women in STEM, with a reach of 55,000+ and clients including Deloitte, ING Bank, Rabobank and Heineken.
In just 2.5 years, we've become the biggest player in our space, and we're still growing fast.
We're VC-backed, active in the Netherlands, expanding to the UK, and run everything with a lean team that leans heavily on automation so we can move fast.
Our team is data-driven and obsessed with efficiency: we're constantly looking at how to make our processes better, smarter and faster.
We avoid manual work wherever we can.
If it can be automated, we automate it, while never losing sight of the human side.
Key responsibilities
QA and release testing: Test new features before they go live, reproduce and document bugs clearly, and write automated tests so we don't ship the same bug twice.
We release bi-weekly.Building the app: Pick up features and fixes in our Flutter application and Node.js backend, growing from small changes to owning your own pieces of work.Keeping things running: Help maintain the tools, integrations and infrastructure the team depends on, and be the person who notices when something is off.Automation and internal tooling: Build small automations and agents that save the team time, from QA checks to internal workflows.
If you see a repetitive task, you'll want to kill it.Working with the team: Collaborate with marketing, design and sales to implement new features, and work alongside our All-Round Intern on day-to-day product work.Random stuff: It's a startup.
You'll get pulled into product demos, brainstorms and the occasional "can you look at this quickly?"
