Become part of the Labor Management team, designing, building, and delivering a robust application that supports Publix business areas in managing labor activities such as forecasting, time attendance, and scheduling.
In this role, you will be seen as the product champion – leading the technical strategy, driving the delivery of a highly available, resilient, and scalable labor management application.

Your Impact
Design and deliver scalable applications, APIs, databases, and event-driven solutions using React, .NET, SQL, and Kafka.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, support, and enhance enterprise applications.
Lead technical delivery for multiple initiatives while ensuring adherence to development standards.
Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to drive engineering excellence.
Participate in Agile planning, refinement, review, and retrospective activities.
Develop and optimize Kafka-based integrations and real-time data processing solutions.
Improve database performance through SQL tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience leveraging .NET Framework (8, 9, or 10), in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment 1+ years of experience with SQL, including experience with database design, query optimization, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable applications1+ years of experience developing modern frontend React.js frameworks integrated with backend APIs1+ year of experience working in Agile environments and utilizing Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, code delivery, and CI/CD support.Experience designing and supporting event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including message production, consumption, and troubleshooting.Experience in reviewing and approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects and other company resources

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year.
This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
