We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Brisbane-based team, supporting and enhancing critical business applications within the energy sector.
This is an initial 2 month contract with a high probability of long term extension.
This role combines hands-on development with Level 3 production support, working across modern cloud-native platforms built on Microsoft Azure.
You'll play a key role in maintaining system reliability, delivering enhancements, and supporting mission-critical services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 3 production support, including incident, problem, and root-cause analysisPerform code-level fixes and configuration changes through CI/CD pipelinesParticipate in a 24×7 on-call roster for critical systemsDesign, develop, and maintain Node.js (TypeScript) backend services on AzureMaintain and enhance React-based Single Page ApplicationsSupport event-driven and real-time systems using Azure Service Bus and Web PubSubWork with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Data Factory ETL pipelinesSupport integrations with AEMO APIs, FTP services, and internal platformsContribute to secure, automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform stability and performance
Technical Skills Required:

Required Experience:
5+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Senior Application Support EngineerProven experience supporting mission-critical, revenue-impacting platformsStrong background in Azure serverless architectures (Functions, App Services)Hands-on experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD-driven environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability in live production systems
