We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Design, implement, and deploy features and fixes for a critical control plane that manages a large global fleet of replication instances.
• Own and enhance deployment and release systems to ensure the reliability and continuous updates of a global infrastructure.
• Drive security and compliance improvements to safeguard customer data and maintain service integrity.
• Foster operational excellence by designing alarms, monitors, and automated safeguards to minimize recovery time.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and release management processes.
• Engage in an on-call rotation, triaging and resolving production incidents.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or distributed software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
