About the Opportunity:
The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER is responsible for architecting, designing, and developing scalable enterprise software systems that support digital commerce platforms.
This role focuses on backend microservices, frontend interfaces, cloud infrastructure, database management, and distributed messaging systems.
The position drives software architecture decisions and leads Agile development processes to deliver reliable and customer-focused solutions.
Responsibilities:
Architect and develop backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.Build GraphQL-based Backend-for-Frontend layers for optimized data delivery.Develop responsive frontend interfaces with React, Redux, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Lead cloud platform architecture and infrastructure provisioning on AWS.Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.Implement event-driven and asynchronous messaging architectures.Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Lead architecture decisions for scalability and resilience.Drive monolith-to-microservices decomposition efforts.Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and maintain technical documentation.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and security teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role.At least 1 year of experience in each of the following areas:Backend microservices and REST API development with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.Building and integrating GraphQL and RESTful APIs.Frontend development with React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.Database design and management using PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB.Cloud microservices deployment and management on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.CI/CD pipeline management using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle.Event-driven messaging with Apache Kafka and Amazon SQS.Scalable distributed software architecture design and Agile/Scrum development practices.Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Confluence.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
$153,356 to $172,807 per year.
