As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be a key driver of this mission, working across both the frontend and backend to deliver an exceptional product experience. You’ll shape our AI Co-Builder, APIs, workflow engine, data models, and user interfaces, ensuring performance, reliability, and beautiful UX for customers. What You’ll Be Doing Building end-to-end features across our stack: backend services, GraphQL APIs, and React-based UIAdvancing the capabilities of Nola, our AI Co-Builder, leveraging the latest improvements from frontier modelsDesigning and improving reusable React components and design systems that power Noloco’s app builder experienceScaling our backend systems and APIs to handle growing customer demandCollaborating with Product and Design to deliver intuitive, polished user experiencesImproving analytics, observability, monitoring, and alerting across the stackDriving technical discussions and mentoring other engineers to raise the bar What You’ll Actually Be Doing Adding new components or improving existing ones to the Noloco App BuilderAdding more tools/logic to our AI Co-Builder so users can interact with the Noloco platform through chat, or MCPExtending our native data tables with new field types, UX improvements, and performance enhancementsBuilding integrations with external data sources and APIs to open up new workflowsExtending Noloco's workflows and automations to let customers connect and automate their toolsOwning full-stack performance: optimizing queries and frontend renderingMonitoring and improving end-user experience from first click to final API call We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have: Significant experience (4+ years) working as a full stack engineer on complex web applicationsStrong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across Node.js and React.jsExperience designing clean, scalable APIs (GraphQL experience a plus)Experience building and improving AI powered agents, workflows and user-experiencesSolid understanding of frontend performance, state management, and design systemsA product mindset — you care about the user experience, not just shipping codeComfortable working without PM overhead; you want to help to shape the problem, not just implement a specExperience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar Our Tech Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), Postgres, MongoDB, RedisFrontend: React.js, Tailwind, ShadCN UIModels: A mix of OpenAI and Anthropic modelsAPIs: Internal Node GraphQL & REST APIs, dynamic GraphQL APIsInfrastructure: AWS ECS, Lambdas, monitored with Grafana & SentryTools: GitHub, Linear, SlackHarnesses: We mostly use Claude Code, but encourage you to use the best setup for you What we offer Interesting and challenging workWork-life balanceCompetitive salary and equityEmployee-friendly equity terms (extended exercise)Work remotely, hybrid or in-office, your choiceHealth Insurance & Wellness allowanceRegular team events and off-sites5 weeks of paid vacationAny Equipment you need to work from home or office Where You’ll Work Remote or hybrid from Dublin 🇮🇪.
