About The Role We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Your expertise will enable organizations to modernize their technology estates through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and advanced DevOps practices. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with practical experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps methodologies. Candidates must have an active SC clearance, with those based in Bristol holding active DV clearance. A UK nationality is required for security clearance purposes. Essential qualifications include demonstrable experience with AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, is necessary. A solid understanding of AWS networking components, monitoring and logging tools, and cloud security principles, including Zero Trust, is also required. Candidates should exhibit strong troubleshooting skills, experience working within Agile environments, and a proactive approach to adopting emerging cloud-native and DevOps technologies.
