Staff Software Engineer

This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client: The organization operates within the social content platform space, focusing on providing creators and solopreneurs with a unified workspace to plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple channels. It addresses the challenge of fragmented content management by consolidating tools into a single platform. The company is profitable, bootstrapped, and recently completed a significant rebuild on a modern TypeScript stack, enabling long-term, customer-driven product development without external investor pressure. About the Opportunity: The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER leads a product squad responsible for core shared foundations essential to the platform, including authentication, permissions, notifications, and billing. This hands-on leadership role involves scoping work, unblocking team members, and actively contributing code. The position is critical in delivering reliable features and maintaining vital infrastructure that supports all parts of the platform. Responsibilities: Lead a product squad and contribute hands-on to software developmentDevelop end-to-end features from database schema through frontend componentsBuild and maintain shared core systems such as authentication and billingComplete and enhance the mobile application experienceDesign and implement reliable background workflows for scheduling and paymentsCollaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to shape feature development Requirements: Eight or more years of software development experience, or six with strong achievementsProficient in TypeScript and React with full-stack capabilitiesExperience or strong aptitude for React Native or mobile developmentDemonstrated leadership without formal management responsibilitiesFamiliarity with AI coding tools and pragmatic development practicesAbility to work independently and handle ambiguityWillingness to perform diverse tasks including debugging and maintenanceUS-based with authorization to work without sponsorship, available during core hours overlapping Central Time Pay Range and Compensation Package: Base salary range of $180,000 to $210,000 plus equity Benefits & Perks: Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRemote work within the US with flexible PTOAnnual company offsites Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
