Location: Plano, TX 75074 Position: Engineering Technician Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hr (DOE) Position Overview XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support engineering and manufacturing operations in Plano, TX. This position assists with product builds, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, equipment maintenance, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Support production and engineering activities on the manufacturing floor.Perform product testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.Assist engineers with process development, validation, and continuous improvement projects.Assist engineers with setting up, operating, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and fixtures.Collect and analyze production and test data.Document maintenance records and engineering changes.Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.Calibrate and maintain production tools and manufacturing equipment.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.Train operators on new processes and equipment as needed.Qualifications Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.1+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or testing experience preferred.Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.Skills Problem-solving and troubleshootingTechnical documentationEquipment maintenanceProcess improvementTeamwork and communicationAttention to detailSafety awarenessCompany Hiring Requirements E-VerifyDrug Test7-Year Background CheckBenefits Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)If you are interested in this position, please bring two unexpired forms of ID to apply!
