About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Backend Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our team in full-time employment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in modernizing our proven ERP application, implementing custom solutions for our diverse clientele, and contributing to the ongoing development of our software platform. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, designing new functionalities, developing and testing modules, and creating interfaces to integrate with customer and supplier systems. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be essential to ensure seamless project execution and optimal software performance. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background, such as an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung (IT specialist for application development), a university degree, or an equivalent qualification. Proven experience in backend development, particularly with Spring Boot, is essential. You should have solid knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience with frontend technologies like Angular or Jasper Reports is advantageous but not mandatory. A strong understanding of clean code principles, structured development processes, and sustainable software architecture is required. Additionally, the candidate should enjoy working in a team environment while also being capable of managing projects independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development tasks are highly valued. Responsibilities Modernize and enhance our established ERP application to meet current technological standards and user expectations.Implement and adapt custom features based on specific client requirements within our ERP system.Conduct analysis, design, development, and testing of new functionalities and modules to expand the software’s capabilities.Create and integrate interfaces to facilitate communication with external systems, including clients and suppliers.Continuously improve existing applications through optimization and refactoring efforts.Provide technical support during the rollout of new features and manage release transitions effectively.Collaborate closely with internal ERP teams and external partners to ensure project success and software reliability.
