Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Configuration Manager to support software configuration management activities for High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
This role will manage third-party OEM and U.S.
Government software stacks and firmware, configuration baselines, change requests, defects, and configuration management processes using GitLab.
Key Responsibilities
Manage software configuration of third-party OEM and U.S.
Government HPC software stacks and firmware using GitLab.
Manage review boards and oversee change requests and defects from creation through completion.
Ensure code changes are implemented in accordance with established configuration management processes.
Understand and communicate change requests, issues, and status to review boards.
Create and maintain configuration baselines across multiple systems and locations.
Develop and modify configuration management plans, policies, and procedures based on the complexity and scope of developmental systems.
Implement version-control processes, policies, and procedures.
Work with software teams to maintain, validate, and audit processes and procedures within CI/CD pipelines and software integration frameworks.
Support configuration management throughout the system lifecycle.
Perform change control and configuration audits.
Use and recommend automated configuration management tools.
Obtain certification as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA) as required.

Required Qualifications
Eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
For developmental programs, at least one (1) year of experience using a source-code control system on a developmental program of similar scope and complexity.
Education/Experience Substitution
Four (4) additional years of Configuration Management experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
A master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of required experience.
