Role Purpose: Lead the introduction of new model quality through strategic planning, management, and communication, ensuring quality targets from concept to mass production are met, with a focus on achieving project EA00’s and factory business plan goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Lead by executing and managing quality plans, coordinating activities during weekends and shutdowns, and tracking project progress.Analyze issues, develop countermeasures, and collaborate with departments and suppliers to address quality gaps.Compile evaluation materials, negotiate control points, and ensure alignment with specifications and standards.Review drawings, collaborate with design teams to prevent manufacturing issues, and support onsite trial builds and activity execution.Enhance departmental standards considering new technology and innovations, and coordinate with global facilities for weld activities.Develop team capabilities through training and mentoring for succession planning.
Qualifications & Skills
B.S.
in Engineering or related Quality experience.5-8 years of relevant experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, 3D data (CATIA), drawing interpretation, and Honda systems (IMS, CRF, SAP, AHEAD).Strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions: Occasional travel, office and manufacturing floor environment, with potential for OT and split shifts.
