Job Description Wood is recruiting a Principal Instrumentation Engineer with brownfield Oil & Gas experience in Field Instrumentation and Control Systems based at our client office in Aberdeen. The Role You will be supporting our ongoing modifications portfolio for a North Sea client. The modifications portfolio covers scopes from low complexity single discipline to multi-discipline engineering. The portfolio covers all stages of engineering design from Conceptual, FEED, Define & Detailed Design. The modifications portfolio consists of the following types of scopes: Concept/Define Studies – Heating Medium Capacity, Cooling of Pot Water System StudyRolling programme of Flowline & Well Hook-Up Scopes.Production Enhancement Improvements – Add. Crude Cooler, PW Heat Exchanger.Anomalies & Repair Order scopes. Primary focus of the role is to provide instrument engineering expertise to the project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading junior engineers and engineers from the global execution centre, providing technical expertise & managing budgets and planning. This individual will be expected to work largely under his/her own direction and will reporting to the Lead Instrument engineer with significant engagement with client personnel.
