About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with a strong focus on Laravel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Laravel framework. This role requires a developer who is proficient in PHP, with a particular emphasis on Laravel, and has a solid understanding of web development best practices. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client specifications. The position offers a hybrid work environment based out of Atlanta, GA, providing flexibility and a collaborative workspace. The PHP Developer will play a key role in implementing features, optimizing existing codebases, and ensuring the security and performance of applications. Qualifications Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong emphasis on Laravel framework.Solid understanding of PHP, including object-oriented programming principles.Experience with Laravel features such as Artisan commands, migrations, and blade templating.Familiarity with session management, including implementing session methods and session handler interfaces.Knowledge of string handling, variable types, and basic data manipulation.Experience with logging and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms in PHP applications.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework, ensuring code quality and performance.Implement new features and functionalities based on client requirements and project specifications.Utilize Artisan commands for various development tasks, including migrations and database seeding.Manage database migrations to facilitate seamless updates and version control.Design and implement session management strategies, including custom session handlers when necessary.Handle string variables and data types efficiently, ensuring proper data manipulation and security.Implement logging mechanisms for tracking application behavior, errors, and security events.Develop and integrate authentication and authorization features to secure applications.Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to create cohesive and responsive applications.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.Stay updated on the latest Laravel and PHP developments to continuously improve skills and application performance.
