A frontend engineering role responsible for building and scaling user-facing web interfaces with React and TypeScript. You will own frontend architecture, develop reusable component systems, optimize performance and accessibility, integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, and turn ambiguous product requirements into reliable experiences.
Highlights
High-impact frontend engineering role involving large-scale user-facing applications, continuous production delivery, design systems, performance optimization, accessibility, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Description
About The Role
The role owns the design, implementation, and performance of user-facing web interfaces used by millions of daily visitors.
The team ships React and TypeScript code to production continuously and treats frontend performance, accessibility, and UX polish as core engineering responsibilities, not afterthoughts.
You will work directly with product designers, backend engineers, and PMs to turn ambiguous product requirements into fast, reliable interfaces - and own the frontend architecture decisions that make them scale.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain production React applications in TypeScript, shipping features end-to-end from design handoff to deploymentDesign reusable component libraries and design system integrations that keep UI consistent across multiple product surfacesOptimize application performance: bundle sizes, Core Web Vitals, code splitting, and rendering behavior at scaleIntegrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling caching, error states, and optimistic updates with robust state management (Redux, Zustand, or React Query)Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright; maintain high coverage on critical user flowsParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and frontend tooling decisions - from build pipelines (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo) to CI/CDCollaborate with designers to identify UX issues early and advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) in every release
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience building and maintaining large-scale web applicationsDeep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong grasp of rendering behavior, hooks, and component composition patternsExperience with modern CSS tooling (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, Sass) and responsive, cross-browser layoutHands-on experience with state management and data-fetching libraries: Redux, Zustand, React Query, or Apollo ClientTrack record of improving measurable performance metrics (LCP, FCP, bundle size) in a production applicationComfort working in a fast-moving environment with frequent releases, feature flags, and experimentationBonus: GraphQL experience, design system ownership, Storybook, Node.js/BFF layer work, or contributions to open-source frontend tooling
