About The Role Stord is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in supporting our product expansion initiatives and scaling our software solutions to meet the evolving needs of the logistics and supply chain industry. As a key member of the engineering team, you will take full ownership of entire features, influence technical specifications, and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy high-quality software. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our platform, which is instrumental in transforming third-party logistics operations globally. In this role, you will collaborate with talented engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand customer pain points, craft innovative solutions, and rapidly prototype and iterate. You will be responsible for enhancing our back-end systems built with Elixir/Phoenix, integrating with front-end components developed in React, and ensuring the overall robustness and security of our software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to solve complex technical and supply chain challenges, influencing the future of logistics technology and delivering measurable value to our clients. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions.Strong proficiency in back-end development using Elixir and Phoenix framework, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Experience with front-end development, particularly with React or React Native, to create seamless user interfaces.Deep understanding of MVC frameworks, software engineering best practices, and test-driven development methodologies.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate wireframes and design concepts into production-ready features.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and articulate complex technical concepts clearly.Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.Experience with secure coding practices and knowledge of information security policies and procedures.Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries is a plus. Responsibilities Own the development lifecycle of features, including designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software components.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand user requirements, identify pain points, and develop innovative solutions.Prototype, iterate, and deliver new functionalities rapidly to meet business and customer needs.Enhance and optimize back-end systems built with Elixir/Phoenix, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.Integrate front-end components with back-end services, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.Participate in code reviews, maintain high standards for code quality, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Implement and enforce information security policies within the development process to safeguard company and customer data.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our software solutions.
