About The Role The Senior Application Developer at Prime Health Services plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex application features and cross-system solutions within a primarily Microsoft-centric environment. This role requires translating ambiguous business requirements into clear technical specifications, owning projects from initial discovery through deployment and ongoing support. The Senior Application Developer provides technical mentorship to junior team members, ensures best practices in coding, testing, and documentation, and actively contributes to the team’s adoption of AI-assisted development tools. This position demands a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in full-stack application development, particularly with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, and SQL Server. A strong background in designing and supporting complex, cross-system solutions, along with proficiency in web technologies like React, TypeScript, and REST APIs, is essential. Demonstrated leadership in technical design reviews, root-cause analysis, and mentoring is highly valued. Candidates should hold a relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience that demonstrates their capability to perform the responsibilities of this role. Experience with AI-assisted development, healthcare data standards, and secure coding practices is a plus. Responsibilities Lead the analysis of requirements, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support for complex application features and cross-system integrations.Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to clarify project outcomes, dependencies, risks, and technical constraints.Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions utilizing technologies such as .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Azure cloud services.Define API contracts, data models, application boundaries, and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.Establish comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, API, regression, and automated browser tests based on solution complexity.Review technical designs, code changes, pull requests, and documentation, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues through root-cause analysis, implementing durable corrective measures.Identify and address technical debt, recommending improvements based on risk, maintainability, and business value considerations.Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, release practices, and operational documentation to support continuous delivery.Mentor and guide application developers in software design, testing, documentation, and AI-assisted development practices.Contribute to the development team’s reusable prompts, patterns, and quality standards to foster best practices across projects.
