About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join Oracle’s Observability organization within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a world-class Integrated Observability and Management platform designed to deliver seamless monitoring, logging, auditing, SIEM, inventory, and event management services. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and innovative cloud-based web services that provide meaningful insights into complex resource data across multiple environments, including OCI, other clouds, and on-premises infrastructures. This position involves close collaboration with research and engineering teams to deliver large-scale projects, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm in solving challenging problems with innovative solutions. The role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud technologies, distributed systems, and creating impactful solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software design, development, and operation of large-scale distributed systems.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++, with additional experience in scripting languages like Python.Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing high-scalability, high-availability, and reliable distributed services or systems.Hands-on experience with relational databases and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling complex technical challenges.Educational qualification of BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
