What you'll do As a member of our 12-month Software Engineering Industrial Placement Programme, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on live customer projects from day one. You'll have the opportunity to: Contribute to the development and verification of embedded software for Evolito motor controller productsWrite software requirements and produce design documentation and code for safety-critical softwareWrite and execute test cases using hardware-in-the-loop test platformsPeer review software development artefacts and support the wider project teamGain experience of aerospace software processes aligned with RTCA DO-178C Design Assurance Level AReceive mentoring and support throughout the programme You could be involved in projects across: Embedded Software DevelopmentSoftware RequirementsSoftware Design & CodingHardware-in-the-Loop TestingSoftware VerificationPeer ReviewSafety-Critical Software Development What we're looking for We're looking for motivated students who: Are studying Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with embedded software contentNeed to complete an industrial placement year as part of their courseHave good knowledge of C and/or PythonEnjoy solving problems using a logical and structured approachAre self-motivated, collaborative and eager to learn Why Evolito?
