Context
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join SYSTRA, an international engineering and consulting group specialising in rail, passenger and freight transport, and the built environment.

Missions/Main Duties
Lead and contribute to the design and integration of projects, ensuring client commitments are met and outputs are delivered to agreed quality, time and budget requirements.Monitor project team performance against contractual obligations and quality standards, taking corrective action where required.Manage checking and approval processes to ensure compliance with client, project and SYSTRA procedures.Prepare and check engineering designs and calculations, taking responsibility for design production management.Ensure project requirements are clearly communicated across the team.Act as Work Package Manager on small to medium-sized projects where required.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical standards and support safe, compliant delivery across the design lifecycle.Build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, partners, contractors and regulatory bodies to support successful project delivery.Lead, motivate and support team members, including development, performance reviews, training and day-to-day people management responsibilities.Support recruitment, onboarding, retention and the creation of a positive, high-performing team environment.Communicate key business and project information clearly, while ensuring compliance with people policies, procedures and safety requirements.Develop commercial awareness of contractual terms, support the management of technical change and help plan resources and delivery timescales effectively.Contribute to continuous improvement, business development and wider team objectives, promoting SYSTRA’s culture of excellence, collaboration, respect and empowerment.
Profile/Skills
Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience in leading electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure.Experience with railway lineside systems including points heating, signalling power, level crossings, general LV distribution, lighting, small power, containment, earthing and fire alarms.Experience using electrical design software for calculation purposes.Good understanding of multidisciplinary issues associated with railway lineside systems and/or the built environment.Relevant qualification such as HNC or equivalent.Professional status at IEng level or equivalent.
