As a Hosting and Infrastructure Platform Engineer working at our San Antonio headquarters office, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise I/S infrastructure primarily focused on operating systems, server hardware, virtualization, containerization across on-premises and cloud environments. You Can Help Achieve This Goal If You Can Support, design, and implement enterprise infrastructure technology solutions aligned with industry and company standards, incorporating on-prem, virtualization, container platforms, and modern cloud.Contribute to long-term planning for Infrastructure solutions related to hostingDesign, implement, and operate enterprise solutions based on RHEL Linux, Windows Server OS, container orchestration platforms, Broadcom VCF, and systems that enable emerging technologies such as AI/ML workloads.Design, implement, and operate Cisco UCS server hardwareCollaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application development, and security to ensure solutions meet organizational needsManage and maintain infrastructure lifecycle operations, workload domain configuration, and integration with storage and network platforms.Documents knowledge acquired and technical specifications into a knowledge management system. This includes adhering to established documenting standards.Coordinate the adoption of new procedures resulting from software and hardware changes, including the development of system specifications, documentation, training, and communication plans.Performs analysis on (including performance and capacity) as well as recommending quality complex solutionsUnderstand and applies the various IT methodologies which include project management, development, service management, and system architecture.Follow ITIL based service management processes (Change, Incident, Request) This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
