About The Role iNET-Web is seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Developer to join our in-house team on a full-time basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, accessible, and high-performance WordPress websites tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, theme customization, and front-end technologies, with the ability to translate design mockups into functional web pages that perform seamlessly across various devices and browsers. As a Front-End Developer at iNET-Web, you will work closely with project managers, designers, and QA teams within an agile environment. Your responsibilities will include building new websites, adopting and maintaining existing sites, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices in UI/UX. You will handle multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from quick updates to large-scale site builds, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a formal education in Computer Science, Web Development, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, or a related field. A strong proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin management, and site maintenance, is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of WordPress theme structure, responsive design, accessibility standards, and best UX/UI practices. Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP is required, with experience in source control systems like Git being highly advantageous. Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi, as well as experience working with Gutenberg, will be beneficial. Knowledge of SEO principles, performance optimization, and security best practices is also important. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends. Experience working within an agency environment, managing multiple projects with varying deadlines, and collaborating effectively across teams is highly valued. Additional experience with other CMS platforms like SquareSpace, Wix, Shopify, or BigCommerce will be considered a plus. Responsibilities Build and maintain WordPress websites that are semantic, accessible, and easy to manage long-term.Convert design mock-ups into functional WordPress pages across multiple devices and browsers.Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and page layouts, including both custom builds and theme-based approaches.Take over existing WordPress sites built by other developers, ensuring ongoing maintenance, improvements, and feature expansions.Troubleshoot and resolve issues on existing WordPress builds, such as plugin conflicts, performance bottlenecks, layout problems, and mobile responsiveness issues.Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to translate business and user requirements into stable WordPress solutions.Work with designers, developers, and QA teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality websites.Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, maintaining attention to detail across various client websites.Handle tasks of varying sizes, from quick website updates to comprehensive site builds and structural enhancements.Review site structures, layouts, and build approaches to ensure adherence to UI/UX best practices.Proactively identify potential issues related to performance, SEO, security, and structural limitations, working with teams to implement effective solutions.Maintain and update WordPress websites regularly, including sites built by others, to ensure security, performance, and functionality.
