Taskr are partnered with an enterprise client who are looking to appoint an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing technology function.
We’re looking for a hands-on cloud and security-focused engineer who can help strengthen secure development practices, automate infrastructure and support the operation of cloud environments.
This is a fully remote UK-based opportunity, with a salary of up to £65,000 per annum + package.
What you’ll be working with:
The role will involve a broad range of cloud, DevOps and security technologies, including:
Microsoft Azure and cloud-based platform servicesCI/CD automation using Azure DevOps Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation, with Terraform Cloud monitoring, security and operational toolingContainerised workloads, including Kubernetes (AKS)Azure services such as App Services, API Management, Azure SQL, etc.Identity and access technologiesCloud networking and secure connectivityApplication and container securitySecurity automation across the development lifecycle, including code, dependency, secrets, infrastructure and container scanningAutomated security controls and quality gates within CI/CD pipelinesVulnerability management, from identification and prioritisation through to remediationWeb and edge security technologies, including WAF, DNS and traffic protectionExperience with platforms such as Cloudflare or equivalent solutions would be beneficial
The ideal background:
You’ll have strong practical experience across Azure, DevOps and cloud security, with a track record of building secure and automated environments.
You’ll be comfortable working across engineering, infrastructure and security teams, and have a good understanding of how to integrate security into development and deployment processes rather than treating it as a separate stage.
Experience with security monitoring platforms, cloud security posture management and application performance/operational monitoring would also be highly valuable.
