We're looking for a Senior Building Services Engineer to join our team, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across South Wales. Most of your time will be spent supporting customers throughout South Wales, with a handful of sites located in North Wales. No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and small works projects across a varied range of buildings, while building strong relationships with customers and becoming a trusted technical expert on site. You will work independently while maintaining close communication with clients, subcontractors, the helpdesk team and contract managers to ensure the highest levels of service delivery. Key responsibilities include: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of sites.Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and building services faults.Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and statutory regulations.Produce accurate maintenance records, reports and certification.Liaise with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.Assist with specialist projects, shutdowns and improvement works.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, RAMS and safe systems of work. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualificationCompleted a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or be a time-served maintenance engineerStrong knowledge of M&E building servicesExperience working with HVAC systems, boilers, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and cooling systemsUnderstanding of Legionella awareness and health & safety regulationsExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licence Desirable 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.F-Gas Certification.IOSH Managing Safely.Experience working within a facilities management or multi-site maintenance environment.
