About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Developer to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data integration and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data engineering, with hands-on experience in building data pipelines, ETL processes, and application interfaces. You will collaborate closely with architects, data analysts, and software developers to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant data solutions that support business objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Professional experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is essential. Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL development, along with familiarity with APIs, JSON, and XML. Experience working with various database systems, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB, is necessary. A solid understanding of REST, SOAP, messaging technologies, and cloud security best practices is also important. Additional experience in AI/ML integrations, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities The Senior Azure Developer will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based data solutions. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and maintaining Azure-based data integration solutions that align with business needs.Building and supporting robust ETL processes, data pipelines, and application interfaces to facilitate seamless data flow.Developing cloud-native integrations utilizing Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.Supporting real-time, batch, and event-driven data processing workflows to meet diverse data requirements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, data analysts, and software developers to deliver high-quality solutions.Ensuring all production pipelines adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data processes to improve performance and reliability.Staying current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve data strategies.
