In this role, you will be responsible for quantification and improvement of manufacturing processes, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives, processing and implementing engineering changes and introduction of new products on time and within budgets.
The internship takes place in Summer 2027.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency or volumeAnalyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished productPlans and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts of products and to promote efficient utilizationCoordinates quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximizes product reliability and minimize costApplies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
Performs / implements classical IE work such as line and work element balancing, time studies, labor efficiency and workflow improvements, Plant floor layouts, updates, and improvementsMaintain plant floor layouts, updates, and improvements.
Create operator method sheets to assure production rates and quality.
Maintain method sheets as product or equipment specification changeDevelops manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Performs capacity planning and provides solutions for cost cutting through process upgrades
