Location: Must be willing and able to be based in Dallas, TX (Requires 4 days per week onsite) OR Modesto, CA (Requires 3 days per week onsite) A Taste of What You’ll Do As Senior Manager, Spirits Brand Development in GALLO's Innovation organization, you will lead the development and execution of strategies that build distinctive brands, strengthen consumer connections, and deliver business results. You will oversee marketing activities with up to an 18-month horizon, guide brand planning, and manage the overall brand P&L and A&P budget. You will turn consumer, customer, and channel insights into compelling end-to-end experiences. Working across Sales, Commerce Marketing, Sales Planning, Demand, external agencies, and business unit leadership, you will shape go-to-market plans, communications strategies, channel programs, test-market launches, and marketing innovation. You will establish KPIs, evaluate performance and ROI, and optimize plans and investments based on learning. You will serve as an outcome owner for Agile development and delivery, lead forecasting and senior leadership updates, and make thoughtful trade-offs across the marketing mix. Through regular market visits, you will deepen channel expertise, identify emerging trends, and ensure activation tools support effective sales execution. As a people leader, you will coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability, candid discussion, bold thinking, and responsible risk-taking. What You’ll Need Master's degree plus 5 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of Gallo Spirits BU experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.Brand management experience.Spirits industry experience.Required to travel up to 50% of the time in-market in order to perform job duties.Experience managing total P&L for brand.Knowledge of the on-premise channel.Experience managing A&P budgets with a diverse marketing mix.Demonstrated ability to think analytically.Experience managing a broad range of stakeholders & multiple external agencies.Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and operate with a sense of urgency.Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
