| Fargo, ND JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team in Fargo, ND as a HMI Systems Engineer. As a HMI Systems Engineer you may: Design, develop, test, and maintain the software, display screens, and communication networks that allow operators to interact safely and efficiently with complex machineryCombine hardware, software, or mechanical components to ensure all subsystems work together smoothlyMonitor system performance, perform upgrades, manage backups, and troubleshoot failuresCreate intuitive graphical user screens, touch controls, alarm management using JavaConnect HMI software with hardware components like PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, data acquisition units, and electronic control units (ECUs)Configure industrial and vehicle networking protocolsPerform test and analysis as requiredTroubleshoot issues and update softwareWork collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partnersContribute to projects that impact communities in West Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, and Horace and the greater Fargo metro areaApply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering requiredExperience with Creo requiredProficiency in Java programming language and HMI/SCADA software platformsStrong understanding of embedded systems, signals, industrial networking, and UI/UX usability principlesComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentCapable of working independently and as a team memberStrong work ethic and unwavering integrityExcellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindsetCuriosity, problem solving, and analytical thinkingEffective verbal and written communicationDesire to work on a variety of projects ESTIMATED PAY RANGE Engineer I: $34.62–$40.38/hour Engineer II: $38.46–$44.23/hour Engineer III: $43.27–$49.04/hour Senior Engineer: $46.63–$53.85/hour Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available.
