The Opportunity As our commercial building pipeline continues to grow, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of high-quality commercial construction and civil infrastructure projects across the ACT and surrounding regions. As our Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating and delivering projects from commencement through to completion. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget and to the highest quality standards Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction projectsManage RFIs, design coordination, variations and change eventsEnsure construction activities comply with current drawings, specifications and standardsPrepare and monitor project programs in consultation with Project ManagersOversee subcontractors, procurement, material tracking and project deliverablesManage project financials including forecasting, cost reporting and productivity trackingPrepare and assist with monthly progress claims, cash flow reporting and project forecastingMonitor WHS, QA and environmental compliance across projectsAssist with internal audits, risk management and WHSEQA implementationCoordinate and prepare project documentation, reports and meeting minutesMentor and support Site Engineers and junior project staffMaintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholdersDrive project outcomes while maintaining safety, quality and commercial performance standards About You We are seeking a motivated engineering professional who enjoys working in a fast paced project environment and takes in delivering exceptional outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.Registration with Engineers Australia, CPEng and/ or eligibility to be Nationally RegisteredExperience delivering commercial building, structural or civil infrastructure projects.Strong technical, planning and problem-solving capabilities.Sound financial and contractual awareness.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement. Requirements Current Australian driver's licenceConstruction Industry White CardAsbestos Awareness TrainingCrystalline Silica Exposure Prevention TrainingAbility to obtain or hold relevant site-based certifications and inductionsEngineers Australia registration or ACT Registered Engineer highly regardedMust have Australian work rights at the time of application The Complex Co.
