P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site a minimum of two days a week, with the potential to work three days remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday and Thursday but will be determined by business needs. Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities ExecutionAccountable for End-to-End delivery within the defined productAccountable for partnering with other dependent teams, and their delivery leads, for successful product deliveryCoordinates across Product Owners, TPMs, and Delivery Leads to resolve blockers and delivery conflictsEnsures backlog is refined, sustainable, and actionable by delivery team (meets team methodology needs)Partners with delivery team to facilitate team ceremonies (standup, planning, retro, etc.)Responsible for partnering with tech team to understand technical direction and capabilities for decision making and trade-off discussionsPartners with Product Owner on backlog prioritization and technical considerationsEnsures cross-functional collaboration and decision making (Balanced Team)ProcessAccountable that defined SDLC practices are followed through all phases of development and maintenanceAccountable for creating sustainable operational model with most efficient use of AMSDelivery Strategy & CollaborationServes as the face of the product on the IT side - Primary escalation and communication point to the product teamPartners with business and IT stakeholders to define product level vision, objectives, and strategiesPartners with business stakeholders and Product Owners on further defining OKRs and overall success metrics for the productMonitors and Ensures product performance (e.g. KPIs & Key Results) meets expected resultsAccountable for ensuring Product Delivery team understands objectives and success criteriaPartners with Tech Leads, Anchors, and UX to create delivery options to meet business objectivesPartners with Delivery Leader on team needs, pain points, risks, and opportunitiesPartners with UX and Product Owner on user feedback and user data for future product directionTargets LEAN product principles (Lean teams, iterations, stories, releases) Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Generally, a minimum of 6 years of related experience that includes experience in Technical Product Management. Certification in Lean methodologies preferred, with a strong understanding of product development and development framework -- ideally Extreme Programming. User-Centered Design certification preferred. Scope of Job/Qualifications: Performs product management for complex products and may have product management duties for multiple teams. Instills Product Mindset with a balanced team approach by breaking down complex problems into simple solutions focused on important customer needs. Exhibits advanced analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive problem solving and decision-making. May own product strategy and execution, ensuring alignment between customer needs, business goals, and technology capabilities. May participate in making recommendations for best practices and introducing new techniques/tools to the product management team. Exhibits advanced business knowledge and the ability to identify and define business needs including an understanding of the organization's business and technology operations.
