Contract B2B, 12 months + extensions Rate: 75-100 PLN/h netto + VAT Full-time, typical core hours Working model: Hybrid, 3 days from Cracow office, the rest remotelyLanguage: English & Polish We are looking for an Electrical / Electronics Engineer to join an automotive R&D team in Kraków and contribute to the design and redesign of electronic devices intended for high-volume automotive applications. The role combines hands-on electronic circuit design, power supply development, simulation, prototyping and laboratory validation. You will work on products designed with a strong focus on reliability, cost optimisation and high-volume manufacturing. Your responsibilities Designing and redesigning electronic devices for automotive applications.Designing power supply circuits, including DC/DC converters.Designing and testing analogue and digital electronic circuits.Developing microcontroller-based electronic solutions.Preparing electronic schematics and supporting PCB development.Performing circuit calculations and simulations.Supporting component selection and design optimisation.Building, bringing up and validating prototypes.Performing laboratory measurements and hardware troubleshooting.Preparing electrical characteristics and technical design documentation.Supporting releases and design updates.Participating actively in peer and design reviews.Following established Electrical Design Processes and quality standards.Cooperating with local and international engineering teams. Must-have requirements 2–5 years of professional experience in electronics / hardware development.Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.Hands-on experience designing DC/DC converters / power supply circuits.Experience designing and testing digital and analogue circuits.Experience with microcontroller-based hardware.Understanding of medium-power analogue electronics and signal measurement.Practical experience with electronic CAD / EDA tools.Experience with circuit simulation tools.Ability to create and understand electronic schematics and PCB-related documentation.Hands-on experience with prototype validation and laboratory testing.Good written and spoken English.Strong communication and teamwork skills. Nice to have Master's degree in Electronics or a related field.Previous experience designing electronics for the automotive industry.Experience designing or optimising hardware for EMI/EMC compliance.Experience with automotive EMC testing.Knowledge of digital video interfaces and serializer/deserializer technologies.Experience with technologies such as SerDes, FPD-Link, GMSL or LVDS.
