Job Summary As a Junior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern React-based user interfaces while collaborating with senior engineers to build scalable web applications. Job Duties (50%) Front-End Application Development Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React.js and TypeScriptBuild reusable, responsive user interface components using HTML5 and CSS3Consume REST APIs using Axios or Fetch and display API data within the applicationWork with JSON data structures and integrate backend services into the UICollaborate with senior engineers to implement new features and enhancements (25%) Application Integration & Collaboration Implement front-end functionality using asynchronous programming patterns including Promises and async/awaitDebug application issues using browser developer toolsParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineersCollaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environmentLearn and contribute to modern front-end development practices (25%) Engineering Excellence Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeUse Git for source control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and collaborationFollow established coding standards and engineering best practicesParticipate in testing, debugging, and issue resolutionContinuously developing technical skills and contributing to team knowledge sharing Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field1-3 Years professional experience developing front end applications.Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.Experience with TypescriptExperience consuming REST API’s using Axios or FetchComfortable working with JSON data and API responses.Understanding of asynchronous programming, such as promises, async/awaitFamiliarity with common data structures including Arrays, objects, maps, setsExperience with common Git commands such as push, pull, merge, fork, cloneBasic debugging skills using browser developer tools. Salary Range $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
