This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client: Modern Family Law is a national law firm specializing in family law. The organization addresses challenges in family legal services by developing technology products that enhance user experience for both clients and attorneys. Their approach integrates enterprise systems, payments, data, and AI capabilities to support complex legal workflows at scale. About the Opportunity: The SENIOR FRONTEND REACT ENGINEER role is responsible for designing and implementing the frontend architecture of a new technology product tailored to family law workflows. This position ensures that the user experience is reliable, secure, and scalable, contributing directly to the program's ability to deliver effective legal services through advanced technology. Responsibilities: Own frontend architecture and implementation in React and TypeScript.Translate product designs into production-ready user experiences.Develop frontend patterns for complex multi-step workflows with validation and error handling.Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and data structures.Establish component architecture, state management, routing, and form strategies.Build secure, role-aware interfaces that accurately reflect permissions and workflow states.Integrate AI-powered features into product workflows.Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.Implement testing practices covering components and workflows.Review code, set frontend standards, and guide other frontend developers. Requirements: Experience building React and TypeScript applications with complex workflows.Proven ability to establish frontend architecture integrating backend services.Strong skills in component architecture, state management, forms, routing, and maintainable patterns.Experience with multi-step workflow applications including validation and error states.Understanding of frontend authentication and role-aware interfaces.Ability to partner with backend teams on API design.Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, and frontend performance.Experience with automated frontend testing.Capability to provide technical guidance and set frontend standards.Ability to work independently on greenfield projects and make architectural decisions.
