Frontend Developer

Front-end Developer Location: Plano, TX – Onsite Contract: 12 Months Experience: 5+ Years Job Type: Contract Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Front-end Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing responsive and interactive web applications using React, JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. The candidate will work closely with designers, backend developers, and cross-functional teams to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement responsive user interfaces for web applications using React, ES6/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and cross-functional teams to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and interactive web pages.Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable front-end components.Optimize web applications for speed, performance, scalability, and responsiveness.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide development recommendations.Maintain high standards of code quality, usability, and browser compatibility.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.Integrate web applications with Content Management Systems (CMS) and third-party APIs.Identify and resolve front-end issues and performance bottlenecks.Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices.Work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer or in a similar role.Strong hands-on experience with:ReactJavaScript / ES6jQueryHTML5CSS3Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications Experience with Git or other version control systems.Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers such as Webpack and npm.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and third-party APIs.Knowledge of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
